Selling gold & silver: what to know.
We test the purity, weigh it in front of you, and show you the math against the day's spot price. No mystery numbers. Branded or signed pieces can be worth more than metal, and we'll tell you when that's the case.
Precious metals often show up inside estates and storage units, so if you're clearing a house, set the jewelry box aside and we'll go through it together.
Not every gold-looking piece is gold, and some plain-looking pieces are solid. Marks like 10K, 14K, 585, 925 or "sterling" are clues, but we test everything anyway. You'll never be pressured to sell on the spot, and you can always take your pieces home and think it over.
