Selling comics: what to know.
Keys drive the value: first appearances, iconic covers and low print runs. We pull those out, and then price the readers and runs fairly instead of lowballing the whole box.
Condition matters a ton with comics. Keep them flat, bagged if you can, and away from heat. Send pics of the covers and spines.
Pulling comics out of an attic or garage? Check for water damage and mildew before you box them back up, and keep any that are already damp separate. Even rough copies of big keys can still sell, so don't toss anything just because the cover's beat up.
